Mike Diffley is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under the great Herman Terrado. He is San Diego native born and raised and started his martial arts journey with Judo for self defense. Over time he started loving Judo so he decided to try Jiu Jistu at Black Flag in Arizona. Mike is a health nut who enjoys learning bio hacking techniques and reading and exercising. Mike is currently a trainer at Gamebred Training Center. He has been training and competing in BJJ for over 4 years and has won Gold medals in various Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions.
Mike has been at Gamebred Training Center for 3.5 years. The aspect of learning new skills and techniques so he can pass on the knowledge to the future students is what motivates Mike to continue his BJJ journey. His ethos is to “Get 1% better everyday.” Mikes thoughts on about BJJ is that it keeps you humble, teaches you life skills once you apply what you learned on the mat to your life and it shows where you stand amongst your peers. Mike wants to one day open his own Academy, win ADCC trials and compete at ADCC world champions. He has a teaching style that allows his students to choose the techniques they enjoy so they can create their own style on the mats. He allows his students to have fun and enjoy the learning environment he creates in his classes. Mike wants his students to keep evolving and learning on a daily bases while having an open mind.
